Our story
Solar4life has been designing and installing solar in Canberra since 2016. We are locally owned, and we work from Mitchell, in Canberra’s north.
What started with rooftop solar now covers home batteries, EV chargers and heat pump hot water, so a household can make, store and use its own energy well. We still start every job the same way: with the home, the bills and the plans of the people who live there.
In 2026 the SunWiz Awards, which rank installers on independent installation and customer-review data, named Solar4life the Local Solar Hero for the ACT and ranked us second in the ACT for both solar and battery installations.

How we work
A conversation first
Tell us about your home and your bills, online or by phone. We look at your roof on satellite imagery before we call, so the first conversation is already about your home.
A written, itemised quote
The exact brands and models, the installation work, what is and isn’t included, the rebates taken off, the warranties and when you pay.
A clear agreement
A straightforward contract before anything is ordered. Nothing is locked in until you accept it.
The paperwork handled
Network connection applications, rebates and approvals: we look after them.
Installed properly
Licensed, accredited installers, tidy work, and the system switched on and explained before we leave.
Aftercare
Monitoring, warranties and a local team to call when you need us.
